A Maths Dictionary for Kids is an interactive online math dictionary for students which explains over 630 common mathematical terms and math words in simple language with definitions, examples, activities, practice and calculators.

ABCya! Kids Education & Technology Meet
ABCya! is a website that provides educational games and activities for school-aged children. The games on the website are organized into grade levels from pre-kindergarten to fifth grade, as well as into subject categories such as letters, numbers, and holidays.

AR BookFinder
AR Book Finder is a website that makes searching for a book’s Accelerated Reader or interest level easy. Students can perform a quick search, advanced search, or even search by award winning books and a variety of state reading lists.

Book Adventure
Book adventure is a reading management program that contains over 15,000 book quizzes to check student’s comprehension. Student effort is rewarded with virtual pet play, game coins, and a game page. Students can also create avatars and personalize bookshelves.

Botlogic is an engaging maze game that teaches players how to code as they navigate through a series of complex puzzles.

Child Fun Family Website
Child Fun is a website of activities for parents to use at home to support their child’s learning. There are resources for holidays, animals, colors, the alphabet and much more.

ClassDojo is a communication tool between school and home. Connect to your child’s class and receive important information about what is happening throughout the school. Parents can also message teachers directly with any concerns. Teachers can share class stories by posting pictures and information about what the students are learning.

Dance Mat Typing
Dance Mat Typing is a fun website for beginning keyboarders. Through a series of 4 interactive levels, students will learn finger positioning and have a chance to practice typing. At the end of each level, students can earn a reward for their tying skills.

Fact Monster
Fact Monster is a website that contains several reference works under one umbrella, including the Columbia Encyclopedia, Random House Dictionary, an atlas and an almanac. It also features quizzes, flashcards, a homework center and Flash-based games. In 2001 it won a Webby Award for best youth site.

Hour of Code
The Hour of Code website offers a wide variety of coding activities for all levels of expertise. There are activities geared towards the pre-reader all the way through high school. Students also have the option to choose beginner or comfortable depending on their familiarity with coding.

Kids Zone
The NCES Kids’ Zone provides information to help you learn about schools; decide on a college; find a public library; engage in several games, quizzes and skill building about math, probability, graphing, and mathematicians; and to learn many interesting facts about education.

Math Drills includes over 50,000 free math worksheets that may be used to help students practice a variety of math topics including geometry, pre-algebra, measurement, and number sense.

Math Expression
Math Expression provides free math tutoring online. It provides easy to understand lessons with videos, study tips, and practice questions.

National Geographic for Kids
Nat Geo Kids allows students to explore all things science through videos and games.

Nick Jr.
The Nick Jr. website provides games and videos from favorite shows seen on the Nick Jr. channel.

PBS Kids
The PBS Kids website provides educational games and videos from favorite shows seen on the PBS channel.

Prodigy Game
Prodigy Game is an engaging math game covering topics from grades 1-8.

Science With Me!
ScienceWithMe! is a fun online hub for science and technology learning resources.

Seussville is filled with information about Dr. Seuss himself and his books and characters. Students can learn about the author, watch videos, and play games with characters based on favorite Dr. Seuss books.

Starfall is a website that teaches beginner readers how to read with phonics.

Students Against Violence Everywhere
The SAVE website encourages students to take a stand against violence. It provides resources to educate students about how to peacefully resolve conflicts and how to encourage others to do the same.

Tynker: Coding for Kids

Tynker is an educational site that teaches block coding. There are over 2,000 activities that foster 21st Century Skills such as problem solving, creativity, and collaboration.

Using Parental Controls for TV and Digital Video

This guide examines the pros and cons of parental controls and their effectiveness to toddlers through teens. It highlights different parental views from health experts, recommendations from the WHO and AAP, along with understanding the basics for implementing parental control.

Wacky Web Tales
Wacky Web Tales Wacky Web Tales is a fun and interactive “MadLibs” style grammar review. Students will create wacky tales by filling in correct parts of speech on a form and then reading the computer created story.

Weather Wiz Kids teaches kids all about the world of weather. There are fun experiments and games that bring weather learning to life.

Word Central is an online dictionary geared for student use.

Youth Emergency Preparedness Curriculum: Ready Kids
The Youth Emergency Preparedness Curriculum was created by FEMA to teach students what to do before, during, and after an emergency.

4Kids is a site full of educational games and videos about topics such as spelling, geography, and multiplication.
